She Runs is a not-for-profit organisation focused on supporting women’s political, economic, and civic participation in Western Australia.

She Runs’ Campaign School provides West Australian women with the practical skills and networks they need to run, and succeed, in their own campaigns for change. It also aims to connect women with key political stakeholders in metropolitan and rural areas.

Topics covered in Campaign School include policy development, public speaking, social media and volunteer management. 

“Women have ideas and voices that need to be heard – but the way politics has evolved from the Old Boys’ Club has robbed them of opportunities to hone their advocacy skills in the same way as their male peers. She Runs is filling this gap by providing the space and mentorship to empower women to get involved, and create change.”
