“The critical mass of numbers we’ve seen over a very short period of time makes me really hopeful for the impact that women can bring into Parliament.”

– The Hon Gabrielle Upton

The Hon Gabrielle Upton shares her personal reflections on her time in the NSW Parliament and insights from her recent Commonwealth Parliamentary Association study tour researching women’s experiences of politics across the UK, USA and Canada.

In this recording of a special Pathways alum event, Sarah Buckley, CEO of the Trawalla Foundation, speaks with the Hon Gabrielle Upton, former NSW Minister in six portfolios including as NSW’s first female Attorney General, and in the infrastructure, environment, financial, corporate law and sport sectors. Gabrielle is also a member of UNSW’s Pathways to Politics Advisory Committee.
