She Should Run is a US-based non-partisan organisation working to dramatically increase the number of women considering a run for public office. They aim to motivate women from all walks of life to explore the possibility of public office by identifying and tackling the barriers to elected leadership. They do this through data-driven content, education, and collective action.

If you are curious about running for office but unsure where to start, She Should Run’s Starter Kit is a dedicated set of resources created to help you better navigate through your initial questions and concerns while considering running for office.

Although designed for women considering running for office in the US, many of these resources offer transferable information and advice. For example, advice on how to call out and shut down sexism in politics, and reasons why women often don’t pursue public leadership and how to move past them.
